KU admissions overview
Inspired by the sport industry? So are we. You’re coming to the right place.
Because of the rigorous nature of graduate programs, the online master’s in sport management* program at the University of Kansas requires all applicants to prove they are able to succeed in the program by meeting a standardized set of admissions requirements.
The KU sport management admissions process looks at your academic history, your career goals, and how you intend to use this degree moving forward, along with your resume and two recommendations from those who can attest to your professional or academic experience.
Whether you’re an international applicant, completing your bachelor’s degree, returning to school after time in the professional world, or currently enlisted in the military, we at KU want to help simplify your admissions process, so you know what you need to submit and the date by which you need to submit it. We encourage you to view our step-by-step How to Apply guide, which walks you through the online application process with detailed information and screenshots.

Online master’s in sport management alumni say:
Apply, even if you don’t think you were a great student. I was never a model student during high school or college. Athletics took priority in my life at the time. Now that I have a few years of experiential learning, my return to class has been completely different. After two semesters, I’m proud to say that my GPA is 4.0!
